SUWANEE, GA, April 29, 2013 – Embraco, a company specializing in cooling solutions, and the global leader in the hermetic compressor market was awarded honorable mention in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s contest for Metro Atlanta’s Top 100 Workplaces.
More than 1,200 companies were nominated or asked to participate in the contest. The Journal-Constitution and its partner Workplace Dynamics, then surveyed 183 metro companies with more than 49,000 participants in the survey. The top 100 list consists of 20 large companies (500+ employees), 30 midsize companies (150-499+ employees), and 50 small companies (149 or fewer employees).

In addition, there were 24 additional companies that the AJC gave honorable mentions to for their strong work ethics, confidence in leadership, and loyalty from their employees. Embraco was one of these 24 companies, with one Embraco survey respondent noting “the company is continuously working to make things better for the employees, and environment as well.”
