High Energy Efficiency Solutions To Exceed Your Needs

Embraco to exhibit latest commercial cooling technology at the AHR Show in Las Vegas

Joinville (Brazil), January 06, 2011 – From January 31 to February 2, Embraco will present its most advanced solutions for commercial applications at the Ashrae AHR Expo 2011 (International Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigerating Exposition), in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA). As a world leader in the refrigeration compressor market, Embraco will highlight three products which meet different needs of its clients at the premier HVAC/R exhibition in North America.

EMT is Embraco’s first compact compressor for commercial cooling applications up to 1,200 Btu/h. Targeting the high efficiency segment of the market, it is designed for commercial refrigerators, freezers and bottle coolers. The EM platform, of which EMT is part, is widely used in household refrigeration due to its high efficiency, compact dimensions and low noise levels. All of these features are present in the commercial version with added robustness, explains Embraco’s North American Sales Manager, Greg Hutchinson.

The NTU series ranges from 7,000 to 10,000 Btu/h ARI and is 20% more energy efficient than the existing NT product line. It also has patented features, such as a suction muffler with liquid handling capability which considerably enhances its performance in applications, such as ice makers.

Embraco is the world leader in high energy efficiency solutions and VNEK is its first variable speed compressor for commercial cooling compatible with natural fluids. VNEK further distinguishes itself with a wider application range than other variable capacity products, due to its 12cc pump. Additionally, it is up to 25% more energy efficient and achieves a 20% reduction in pull-down time when compared to On-Off compressors.
